Defendents Seek New Venue in Country Club Lawsuit

GREENEVILLE–A lawsuit over a Sullivan County golf course took a new twist Friday.

Owners for the Country Club of Bristol have been locked in a battle with golf operations company Integrity Golf since October. That’s when Integrity suddenly left town despite having signed a 10-year contract to run the golf course.

Integrity now wants the case moved out of Sullivan County and into federal court in Greeneville. Integrity claims that the change of venue should be allowed because the company is based in Florida, not Tennessee.

The country club’s owners are challenging the change.
